RYAN HOLWEGER

After a number of years fronting Minneapolis alt-country/Americana band Western Fifth, Ryan Holweger started playing songs under his own name in 2012. In the past few years he’s been playing shows as both a solo acoustic act and with a full backing band, and he’s opened for a number of national touring acts, including Richard Buckner, Damien Jurado, Centro-Matic, St Paul & The Broken Bones, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Cactus Blossoms, and Sam Outlaw. He currently spends half of the year living in Bangkok, Thailand, where he tours extensively in Southeast Asia.

Ryan recently released a new album with producer Mark Stockert (Brian Setzer, The Waifs, Rosie Flores, etc.) recorded at Underwood Recording Studio in Minneapolis.

VALERIE JOYCE

Valerie Joyce is a Californian singer-songwriter based in Bangkok. She formed with her band Valerie Joyce and the Rising Sons in 2016 and has since been playing throughout Bangkok, alongside local and international talent. She is currently in the works of producing her debut album with Jar Records and will begin touring extensively throughout SE Asia and abroad. Her songs seek to touch on themes of isolation, as well as the illusory and captivating sensations of love. You can expect a haunting and progressive sound that is at the same time tinged with a peculiar sense of familiarity.

John Lindsay is a Bangkok-based singer/songwriter from Newcastle, England. John’s music is his emotional release of everything he has built up inside himself over the years. John’s influences include Nathaniel Rateliff, Amos Lee and Nick Drake. His long-awaited debut album, Wildfire, will be coming soon.
